Fatty acids are long aliphatic carbon hydrogen chains containing one carboxyl group at one end, and are organic compounds. They are divided into two categories based on whether the carbon chain contains double bonds: saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. Industrial products are mostly mixtures, with the main components being oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid, etc.
Fatty acids are mainly used in the production of paints, coatings, resins, dimer acids, surfactants, diesel anti-wear agents, etc.
